If you want to improve your game and enjoy your tennis more, you will not find a better teacher, at whatever your level of play, than Bob. I have taken lessons from several tennis pros, but never had I encountered a tennis instructor with Bob's depth of knowledge and teaching ability. He gave me books, photos and videos to study. It was obvious he was truly concerned with my progress. By the end of my first series of lessons, I was so enthusiastic and excited about my tennis that I ended up teaching tennis at a camp during the summer.

Bob Langer is the best instructor I've ever had (and I've had many). Whether demonstrating a new shot, analyzing a stroke or explaining a strategy, Bob's teaching style makes them all very understandable, and easier to accomplish.

I can enthusiastically recommend Bob Langer as a teaching pro to improve your tennis game. I have taken lessons from many people but none of them were able to make as significant an improvement in my game in as little time as Bob. I found him to be extremely personable and truly interested in helping me. I was impressed by his knowledge and ability to find a way to get me to make one correction, which then corrected more than one flaw in my strokes. I always left with an understanding of what I needed to work on when practicing on my own. I am sure that your game will improve after taking lessons with Bob.

Tennis lessons with Bob Langer are fun, motivational and mind expanding. The instructor's interest and knowledge  of  perfect, beautiful strokes is beyond anything I have seen in any instructor. He is able to achieve this  through the  use of visual aids, explicit verbal explanations that are specific to each individual student's style of learning, perfect practice and of course, great patience.  His excitement and love of the game is contagious and inspires you to read, study and practice the game outside of court time. Many hours were spent in front of the mirror shadowing "perfect stroking techniques", which definitely made a difference once you got back out on the court.

My two children took tennis lessons with Bob when they were 12 and 8, 2 to 3 times a week for more than two years. They liked his lessons right away.  Bob is very knowledgeable and patient with kids. He improved their skills significantly.  Bob summarized lessons and gave them homework assignments after each lessons. My kids always looked forward to their lessons with Bob. He cares about his students and their progress. He uses humor to engage and motivate them. Bob not only teaches techniques but also strategy of how to win and stay calm during game. Bob's teaching style and knowledge of technique was a great experience for us.

Bob was great! I was very much a beginner at tennis when I started my lessons with him, and he quickly made me feel at ease. He was very patient and encouraging, and I was able to improve enough to play competitively within a very short time. Tennis has become a big part of my life now, and Bob gave me a great foundation!

Bob Langer provides an excellent tennis foundation.  My child always looked forward to her lessons with Bob and he cultivated her love for the sport.
Match play confidence was an issue and Bob got her over that hurdle.  He was always very generous with his time and truly wanted the best for my child.
Bob also made it possible for my daughter to participate in group lessons with appropriately skilled partners, which allowed her to develop into an excellent doubles partner.

For many years I have taken lessons to work on my game. It was not until a couple of years ago when I started taking lessons with Bob, that I was able to make such great progress with my backhand. My backhand has always been my weakness; now it is often a weapon!  Just recently, I got a kick out of hearing my doubles opponents whispering to each other: "don't serve to her backhand." I always leave a lesson with Bob having learned something new, plus techniques to practice when playing my matches.

Hi, I'm a 6th grader in Middle School. I have been taking tennis lessons with Coach Bob Langer for a year and they were great. Coach Bob has a variety of knowledge that he teaches in fun ways and I improved quite a lot. He put the fun back into my game, and inspired me to make the technical changes I needed to make me play well again. 
He helped me a bunch with my ground strokes, serves and volleys. He also cared about my progress and gave me methods to work on my strength and accuracy. 
Overall, coach Bob is the one of the best tennis instructors I ever had. Try a lesson with this veteran coach and you'll be amazed and how you can catch Bob's passion for tennis and turn it into a game you just can't live without.

My eldest son has been taking tennis lesson with Bob for almost two years. I have found him to be a very skilled, patient and friendly tennis coach. My
son does not like to play outside. When he first started taking lessons with Bob, he often complained of getting sweaty and tired. But Bob just stayed very positive and encouraged my son not to give up. Now, my son really enjoys playing tennis with Bob.  I also took tennis lessons with Bob myself for six months and 
enjoyed the lessons with him very much. His is very professional and knowledgeable.

Bob has demonstrated over the past 30 years that he is a true expert and student of the game of tennis. His teaching style and playing style both reflect a great deal of intelligence and respect for the basics, as well as the finer points of the game. His logical, sound instructional techniques are best evidenced by some of the young kids who got their first taste of tennis coaching from Bob, and have since blossomed into some of the best players in Gainesville.
